Noise

When it comes to photography, noise does not refer to an unwanted sound. Instead, it refers to visual distortions you may find in a photo. It is visible in some images more than others. If images have been shot using high ISO or low shutter speeds, you will come across “noise.” On physical film, noise is called film grain.
